To better serve our customers, Bank Street Auto has become an approved ADAS Sensor Calibration Facility. Many new vehicles produced are equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), a technology where sensors send signals to a system allowing the system to “see” what is happening around your automobile. Our service technicians now have the tools and education necessary to perform ADAS sensor calibration on vehicles that require it.
Most ADAS sensors are precisely set and require calibration if their set positions are disturbed. Misaligned sensors often occur from collision, but could also occur for common service work. A vehicle equipped with an ADAS system may require system calibration with a windshield replacement, suspension repair, or wheel alignment. Failure to calibrate a sensor can result in faulty information sending causing ADAS to improperly operate or not operate at all.
While ADAS makes driving safer, the system complexity with sensor aiming requires a time-consuming precision calibration procedure. Our automotive technicians are trained to accurately calibrate ADAS making your collision repair or mechanical service a one-time stop at Bank Street Auto. Paired with world-class service and I-CAR Gold Class collision certification, you can trust that your vehicle will be repaired properly to ensure optimum vehicle safety.
